Yeah same here or at least made to feel guilty for venting even though other people around me are allowed to do it.

Yeah that makes sense and that's what I try to do too, no one likes a constant Debbie downer and I know quite a few people like that which is energy draining.

Thing about guilt is that it is a personal feeling we allow ourselves to take on. I never let anyone make me feel guilty. If I am personally convicted that I did something wrong then I will apologize. Otherwise I refuse to take on any guilt that people try to shove on me. My mom was always good at trying to do that because it would get her what she wanted & she hated that I would never play that game even as a child. Never feel guilty unless you, yourself are truly convicted in your heart that you did something wrong

Yeah that makes absolute sense and I need to get better at standing up for myself. I think people know it is easy to make me feel guilty which really isn't a good thing.
