can someone quiz me on them so i can see how many of them i can remember?

i'm asking cause of my learning difficulties, i dont find it easy learning stuff just by reading them or learning through sound, i learn best by doing so i think maybe someone making a quiz of the rules might help me remember them?

Theres really only two rules - post asking for help, or post offering help.
Thanks for this!

you saying that made me think of Mr Mackay from the sitcom Porridge - "There are only two rules in this prison, Fletcher. One, you do not write on the walls. Two, you obey all the rules"

One rule - treat others as you would like to be treated because willowtigger is a good person and very smart.

I like to be told I'm good and smart, too.

You can ask by PMing moderators. Don’t discuss moderators’ decisions on the forums

In case it's not clear, I not calling the forum a prison

It's a scene from a british sit com

Sit com means situation comedy

Be that as it may - but do remind yourself: Back at Windows 95, Microsoft did test it properly BEFORE releasing it. With windows Vista or 7, the users became practically the beta-testers.

of course you are allowed to, if not even encouraged - as long as they are in good taste. (to be honest, being an IT pro, it took me a moment to switch to "school mode" ... to understand )

---

On a different context: I hope, you do well @willowtigger, and I am wondering if you were able to further review the rules as you did plan.

i not sure if i managed to name all the rules

i'm sorry when i'm learning something i find it helps if i put in my own words what i understand of what i was reading and trying to learn

it stays in my brain better when i do that

i'm hoping thats fine to do, if its not fine i'll understand if this thread goes

Sounds like an idea - I mean, if you can give them your "personal touch" ... better. Pretty sure, nobody will be angry towards you for doing that, as long as the content of the rule doesn't change.

if it does change a bit, due to my learning difficulties, would anyone get upset at me if i genuinely thought it meant a bit different to what it did mean? i think the rules i remembered, i think i got them right
Thanks for this!

I think, once again: No malicous intent, no "tryin' to get around it", but "genuine thirst to learn" --> why would anyone be angry?
Thanks for this!
