Hi all,
I've been working on weight loss. As of today I'm 50 pounds from my heaviest, but I'm confused because in six months I've only lost 16 pounds yet I've dropped two pant sizes and I feel like my body looks very different--my biggest problem area, my stomach, looks considerably smaller, and my legs and arms look tighter and face less round. So why does it appear like I've lost a lot of weight in six months when in reality it's only 15 pounds? Am I just now noticing the overall weight loss, or is there something more to it? |

One article talks about how I may be losing fat and gaining leaner muscle that doesn't reflect what's going on with the scale.
Could this explain why I feel I've lost more than I have? I've been more physically active, drinking less alcohol, consuming more tea and water and making healthier eating choices??? |

Theres also the paper towel thing where one sheet taken off a full roll makes little difference, whereas a sheet taken off a nearly used up roll greatly reduces the circumference.
