I remember back in high school you could only get chocolate milk or ice cream if you behaved that day. This was almost 13 years ago so maybe things are different now. But idk. Using food as a reward just seems like it can cause a bunch of issues.

What do you think?

From my perspective, it seems that the high school's approach was not to offer a reward for "good" behavior. Instead, it was to withhold the reward in the case of "bad" behavior.

But what if some students can't have dairy? The policy regards them as if they were "bad," which is unfair.

I don't recall getting raised this way. And yet today this idea of a food reward is what undermines my attempts to maintain a healthy weight. I've convinced myself that I deserve a treat for getting through the day. So in my case, I came up with the idea myself.
