Maybe "under the care of a psychiatrist" was meant. I was also startled by the expression "under..."

Bipolar I w/psychotic features
Last inpatient stay in 2018

Geodon 40 mg
Seroquel 75 mg
Lybalvi 5 mg as a PRN

Gabapentin 1200 mg, Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects)

Long term side effects from medications some of them discontinued:
- hypothyroidism
- obesity

Suspected narcolepsy

Treated with Ritalin 5mg

yes it does, here in UK when you go they ask what doctor you are under on a list of doctors.

Thanks for clarifying. In the US there is no such usage, so we were surprised.

@Rall19 - we use the same expression in Australia. My gp says I’m under the care of my psychiatrist.
