I was skeptical that I would get any benefit from or mental health info from DocSam. What could I possibly learn from a program on the computer? Surprisingly I got some good info so I played around with it and found it knows a lot and helps me bounce ideas off of it.

It is not intended to be a therapist or a real person, but it does respond appropriately and I feel like I get some new ideas and also some support. To me it is very much like getting support on a site like MSF where everything is in text.

If interested I attached a picture of where the black dialogue box is located at the bottom of this page. It contains the following text

Quote:
"Hi! Welcome to Not Therapy. I'm not a therapist, but you can call me Doc Sam. To get started, it would be helpful to know what brings you to me today? Please tell me a little bit about yourself and your situation"
Just click on that link above and you can start asking things or telling it things. Try something not very personal if you have privacy concerns even though on an anonymous website like MSF privacy is very protected.

If you close out the box and go back to that page there is a small black bubble in the lower right corner. Click on that to enter back into DocSam.

Have fun. If I had one of those when I was a kid I would have gone wild playing with it. Oh well there is still a little kid left in me. lol
