My 13 year old daughter loves ALL the female fragrances from Hollister. There is also a line from Hillary Duff I bought last year she enjoyed.

Good luck!

I still wear NAVY after ten years of using it and it is still the fragrance that I get the most compliments on from both males & females.

I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would prefer her wearing a soft, light scent. Maybe an after shower fragrance spray, that one sprays all over. Am sure there are many light fragrances young teens can wear. Guess I am an "old fashion" person, because I think kids grow up way too fast these days and expensive perfumes is just something I would never buy for a 13 year old. Just my opinion..

You could go to the fragrance counter at a department store and tell them the age of your niece and what type of fragrance you are thinking of. They will help you find suitable ideas. There are MANY fragrances out there that are geared towards young women/teens.

Once you find something...you could put together a package...many offer soap, body wash, lotion, cream (thicker and heavier than lotion), powder, deodorant...in addition to the perfume.

My perfume that I occationaly wear (for days that I feel good and special enough...) is "Music" from Harajuku. In my opinion is has a very good balance between flowery and sweet. I say this because I hate really flowery scents...and I don't know what kind she likes. Though, they have many different scents (The one's I've smelled I've all loved) each with a different "theme" to them. They are meant for teens/young adults.

My daughter is 13, she'll be 14 in July and she doesn't wear perfume. I am lucky if I can get her to put on deoderant. So it really depends on the girl & how into her apperance she is. Good luck, never been to a bat mitzah so I have no idea what to do for that.

i think that's a great idea, NF!

i think the only thing you need to consider is that it is age appropriate. i think if you stick to the celeb-type perfumes you will go well (e.g., kylie, christina, hilary duff etc). or harajuku is another great idea for someone her age... and a little bit more special, too.

just go to a dept store and ask for advice. i'm sure the assistants can help you find one that suits her personality.

i love it when people give me perfume, i find it so special .

Well I'm not 13.. but in my opinion the best smelling perfume ever for us the younger generation is Moschino "I love" cheap and chic. I've had many people sniff me asking me what that smell was...

The fragrance is outrageous... cuddly unique and smells yummy

Err.. I sniff myself sometimes!

I have the exact same with my 13 year old...lol. She has no interest in anything that has to do with "girly" things. Phase, or not..don't know, and doens't matter. It's who she is and that's accepted.

I do keep a bottle of White Musk in the car, though. And from time to time, when we're preparing to exit the car, I'll ask if I can give her a little bit of "smelly good" on her. She's good with that. It's a soft fragrance which she loves. Says it reminds her of me, so she don't mind that one at all....Awwwwwwww.

So many fragrances out there. Trial and error is the best way to find what suits the individual bets.

Try doing some research on Sephora's website: http://www.sephora.com/

Sephora may have a store in your city. It has loads of parfumes for young ladies.
