Well, I wasn't at school today because I was feeling really sick. This afternoon I heard a familiar voice telling me to look out the window. It was my ten year old friend. He came to visit. He gave me a present: two lilacs. Both of them were sort of half bloomed and still were very fragrant. He remembered when we were talking yesterday the the lilac is my favorite flower

Truth be told, there are still very many thoughtful kids out there, once you go beyond what's on the surface and your first impressions.

I really do know that too....the families around me here in KY have some of the nicest kids & also, my friends who now have grandkids....all are wonderful......

There is really much more good than we see or hear in the news.

From my observations, kids alone are great, but you put them in a group and all of their bad qualities start showing what kills me is that I know deep down inside he is a great kid, he pretty much keeps shooting himself in the foot with his behavior problems. My dad thinks he has ADHD.

aww that is so awsome! Lilac's are my fav flower too. I planted one in our front yard cuz I have never had my own. It is very cool when a kid out of the blue does something so great. Kinda restores your faith in humanity huh..........

How sweet!! I love lilacs! I don't know if its the beautiful fragrance, or perhaps just because my grandma had two growing in her yard. I think probably both, LOL.
