I am a friend of Krispy Kreme meaning I am on their mailing list
 . I got an email from them today saying tomorrow is National Dount day and they are giving away a free donut of your choice all day long. So if you gotta have your Krispy Kreme and don't mind standing in line all day I say go for it. I may go see if the line isn't too long. It's been awhile since I had one and I don't mind them so much anymore. I can handle them once in awhile.Jan

I know I'm not supposed to have them but once in about every 3-4 months is ok isn't it? I don't go there very often because they are so sweet. Plus very addicting.

I have heard that eating stuff like that makes you sick as a dog after eating stuff like that. I would not do it I don't think. not after surgery. I try to stay away from the krispy kreme store here. I love those things hot

Not everyone gets sick after surgery. I used to but not anymore
 . I did get one today but it was so sweet I threw it away. I couldn't eat it it was so sweet. I'm not used to eating sweets so it was too sweet for me. Guess I learned my lesson.Jan

I posted this info on my blogs earlier today, so hopefully a lot of people got to take advantage of such a great deal! Unfortunately, I'm not real close to one and I don't have bus money to waste on just a free donut when there are other places that I actually need to go. But I still appreciate the info nonetheless!
