Has anyone heard much of this date?
Saw a nostradamus show which featured
it, and then have heard more from different
sources. Big planetry line up which only
happens...or i should say has only happened
once before. Supposed to be messages about
it in old scrolls, incas etc. Was wondering if
anyone out there has anymore knowledge of this.

It is supposed to be the date the Mayan Calander runs out. A lot of "end days" stuff has been attached to this date and what I suspect will be a schlocky CGI filled film is being released this year.

Much like 1/1/2000 this date will come and then go, and 1/01/13 will see the sun rise somewhere.

.....it is the winter sulstace.......21,22 dec.....which is the shortest day of the year......21,22 june......summer sulstace....longest day of the year.....march 21,22........spring equinox..........day and night are equal....september 21,22..............fall equinox........day and night are equal...........

......ever since man started looking up to the skies, there has been wonder and curiosity....then awareness........an awareness that the earth itself is moving and alive.....

........then man started keeping track of time and started studying the stars.......hence calender,astrology and astronomy....evolving into a science..

.....then he noticed four specific days out of the newly found year,inwhich he called equinax and sulstice.......or the day of the change of season.......spring and fall equinox 12hrs moon 12hrs sun or equal in day and night....this happens twice a year......and summer and winter sulstace......this happens twice a year.....the shortest and longest days of the year.......

.....throughout many cultures around the world......(before television and internet)......these four days out of the year are recognized as very spirirtual days.......healing days......or.........
......this is my own personal opinion from my studies and experiance.....
......there are two sides to everything....night,day....light,dark...good,bad

......now in the lunar calender year.....there are 12 animal signs,one each year for a twelve year cycle...(this is very brief description,pertaining,and in reference to this thread).......different eastern cultures that still recognize the lunar calender,refer differently to these animals......hence.....the year of the pig/boar......goat/sheep...etc..........eleven of these animals,just so happen to be earthly............but.........there is one out of these twelve animals,in the zodiac, that is celesstial........the mystical dragon...........

......it just so happpens that.......21 dec 2012.......is......the day of the winter sulstace........in.............the year of the dragon............

...........in closing.......I will state.......this is the year of the ox....

If I remember correctly....the actual D date is 12.12.2012.....??

Even IF it's true...all the more reason to live for today.
Whats the point of worrying about a natural disaster that NO ONE can change?
