I sooo love outdoor concerts, in the wine region, on a breezy hill, sheer beauty! I am going with a new friend of mine, with whom I have really clicked with! The weather is perfect, this is small dream come true for me, today, the price was right, had to wait a long time for it, but to-day has arrived, I am all packed up, about to drive away

She sang "Somebody's Child," after interviewing homeless folks and folks who were down on their luck......she came to the conclusion that as dismal as their present seemed...once...each of these precious folks were once, in their past,............SOMEBODY'S CHILD.........

OMG! OMG! OMG! You must have been in heaven!!! Such a beautiful setting! I've been meaning to tell you that I love your avatar pic. You may think this is silly, but after 30 years, I decided that I am going to play and sing again. You see, back in the dark ages (1970's) I sang and played guitar, banjo, mandolin, piano, almost any instrument that could make music and I was actually paid by my college to perform music and recruit students. After school, I gave it up for married life. Thirty years later, I saw Linda Ronstadt in concert here in Phoenix, and then Joan Baez. Ahhhh, now I can die a happy person, I thought. Then, I had a very, very bad period of time which landed me in hospital for two weeks and five weeks of outpatient day therapy. I made the decision to start playing and singing again. But there was a small problem: my beautiful Epiphone guitar that I've had for 35 years had dried out and split from the low Arizona humidity. Fortunately, the sound box didn't get damaged, just the neck just below the rod. So, it was repaired and now I am so excited. I picked it up to play and my right hand had absolutely no idea what my left hand was doing!!! So. At age 56 I am starting all over again. But you know what? Joan Baez is 68 years old. And she sounds EXACTLY like she did at 18. So, if she can do that, then I can at least try practicing a little. Except, I'm not Joan Baez. Hhmmm. Sure could use one of those delusions that I get when manic......... Oh well.....am so glad you had a wonderful time. ![]()
