I don't have a current collection of anything but as a little girl I used to collect pages of pretty writing paper. I still have this collection and there are so many unusual and beautiful pieces.

My mom-in-law collects anything guinea fowl related and my father-in-law collects owl figurines.

I have a stamp collection that was given to me, 2000+ stamps from all over the world from 1850-1960... I don't collect them though, I just hold onto them. I do collect Disney Princess things for my daughter, cows for my kitchen and things from Asia : ) Even though I've never been lol

I don't collect anything really, don't let all of my pokemon stuff, painted animals, and asian-motifed things fool you As a kid I used to collect rocks though, every time I'd find a rock that I thought was interesting (which was often) I'd add it to my collection. Of course they were really just ordinary rocks, but I still liked them and thought they were pretty.

I try to collect my thoughts!! But, they come to me with feet and dirty mouths and usually don't stay very long lest they get too unsettled and start to commit Hari Kari on the mind.

When I was younger I would collect Garbage Pail Kid cards and pictures of Space and the Space Shuttle.

I used to collect snow globes. But I now have inherited several collections of things from my mother after she died. Like decorative thimbles. Some are pewter, some are fine china, hand painted.

I also collect Wedgewood. I have a few pieces of blue but my favorite is the Strawberry design. I also collect Christmas ornaments with Mini-Schnauzers on them from the Danbury Mint.

I also have Rudolph's Christmas Town that I have made into a complete village with mirrors as ice skating rinks and a train that encircles it and our Christmas tree. It is elevated so the dog won't chase the train.

When I'm depressed, I usually collect dust.

[Why is it that things we manage to get into our posting window won't show up when we submit it? Your hockey card is in the posting window.]

What I was going to say is, you never know about those kind of cards. Could be your retirement nest egg someday.

I have a collection of cigarette lighters. I collect anything with the US flag, eagles or both. I started out with disposable lighters, but I now have two Zippos

I collect colored glass bottles and prisms for the windows, so that in the winter, when it's dreary outdoors (where I live), I can still look at the windows and see some color.

I have a few collections but I haven't added to them or even payed attention to them in a few years, I have all kinds of sports cards(lots and lots of them) and a John Deere merchandise collection for my kitchen, and a small collection of Indianapolis Colts merchandise.
I am considering getting rid of some of the sports cards I have kinda outgrown them.

I collect model horses. Plastic, resin and a few china. Least expensive was $12; most expensive $2500. I have somewhere between 100-150 horses, I think. I take them to shows where they compete in breed for most realistic breed conformation and quality of paint work and they wear saddles and such in performance and compete in the same things real horses compete in like dressage, show jumping, western trail, ...

My favorite sculptor is Brigitte Eberl in Germany. I have quite a few custom painted horses and numerous finish work artists I adore.

Sadly I am going to be having the Great Keep Yoda Out Of Prison For Tax Evasion Model Horse Sale soon. Bummer.

Here are a few pics of some favorites. (Some pics by me; some by sculptor/finish work artists)

Yoda, awesome!

I don't necessarily "collect" anything, but I do have collections. Don't know if it makes sense to anyone but me, but that's how I look at it.

  • I have my father's double edge and both grandfather's straight edge razors and the lather and brush cups.
  • over 200 antique skeleton keys found in my grandfather's dresser drawer.
  • various rocks I have brought home from my travels
  • a serious number of very colorful, high bouncing "super balls" confiscated from students when I taught elementary school.
  • about 20 clowns affectionately given to me by students.
  • And a vast assortment of wine labels that I continue to wallpaper my kitchen walls with!

Well, you have just reminded me about my prized collection of 6 snoopy mugs that I inherited from my late father. He loved Peanuts and Snoopy and collected many things about them

I agree. When I was a kid in the 1970's, I collected Breyer horses (plastic, I guess) that you could buy at hardware stores back then. I had about fifteen or so -- Arabians, draft horses, Morgans, Man 'o War, etc. I wish I had them now, but they are long gone. That company still makes horses; sometimes I think about buying one, but they're pretty expensive now, and it wouldn't be the same, anyway, I don't think. Thanks, Yoda, for that beautiful display.

What a good question!
I have a collection of Teddy Bears, limited edition (which I want to sell.) I also have a collection of bells. I think I found my mom's collection of matchbook covers...and her sugar spoons too.

The one I enjoy the most is my collection of friends!

I collected comics as a teenager. I have the first HULK comic ever made for instance. I did not do anything with comics again for decades, but recently have tried to use it to find a common ground with my 7 year old.

I collected martial arts for awhile. I did martial arts 27 years (Bruce Lee was still alive when I started). I have earned black belts in several systems.

I am now collected athletic achievements (I am in my late 40's). I won the state gold medal in masters swimming (50 m freestyle) this year, last year came in 3rd out of 10 in a strong man contest, and the year before that completed a triathalon.
Thanks for this!

Well here I thought I didn't collect anything, seems I do.
I have a prized collection of Jodi Picoult novels. Only buy them brand new.

I also collect medals from 5 and 10km run runs that I do
