Hi everybody,

I was so excited when I read that The Cranberries will be performing in Detroit on November 24 Until, that is, I saw the ticket prices. $88, $100, it's insane. So I'm asking, has anyone come across a ticket site that is somewhat cheaper? I saw ticketmaster.com has some available for $40, but in Boston instead of Detroit. I'm hoping the ones for this concert will be around the same price. It would be the greatest Christmas present if I could see them in concert!

Ooohhh....good luck sweety!!

The tickets I've seen for the concert at the Fillmore are ranging anywhere from $88.00 for 5th flr balcony all the way up to $236.00 for the ground floor.

Keep looking. The closer it gets to November you should check out Craigslist for Detroit Metro and maybe even check Ebay, although tickets from Ebay can be just as expensive as buying them from a ticket place if they're up on auction.

I would love to hear the Cranberries live!! Mind you I prefer their earlier stuff. I've been jammin to their tunes since there first album in '92 and absolutely fell in love with there sophmore album in '94....Gosh that makes me feel old.... That was the year I graduated High School...and the year you made your entrance into the world!! LOL!! NOW I really feel old!!

Anyway...good luck!!

Thank you That's always been the thing that's made me sad - that I didn't get to grow up with them. I would have liked to be your age when they were popular..I love their earlier stuff too! "Linger" is my favorite, and "Twenty One" and "Dreaming My Dreams" still amazes me with the guitars even though I've heard the songs about a million times. I've always thought Dolores was amazing, as well

Indie ~ Those are a lot of my favs too!

Dreaming My Dreams is actually a song I dedicated to one of my High School friends. She had a baby when she was a Junior, I was a Sophmore, and then in '96 she had her second child and I got to be in the delivery room with her. I remember playing this song in her hospital room while she was in early labor.

Brings back good memories!!

This is from '96 in Detroit. Not sure if it was at Fillmore, or not? Enjoy!!

Oh that is so sweet I think that the guitars in Dreaming My Dreams shows so much of their style, especially in that album. No Need to Argue is definitely my favorite. I didn't like Bury the Hatchet so much, but the songs that I do like are still really good. Thanks for the link

She's so pretty, isn't she?

That video made me cry, it's so beautiful

LOL Modelcarguy.

IndieSoul - "Linger" is my all-time favorite Cranberries song. I hope you'll be able to get your tickets and report back to us on how much fun you had at the concert!

Thank you There actually is hardly any reason why I won't be able to, since the tickets shouldn't cost more than $50. My parents know how much I love The Crans and how long I've waited to see them in concert - the concert is on a Tuesday, they said I could skip school the day of and the day after it. Awesome parents, right? I'm just worried that I won't be able to go, for some reason. It seems like every time I want to do something, it never works out. Wish me luck!
