When I was a teen I had an awesome youth pastor. He was a very instrumental (sp) person in my life and throughout the years I have lost touch with him since he got married and moved around.
I have googled his name and came up with a ton of his name but didn't think that any of them fit him. So the other day I put his name into Facebook and again no luck so put his wife's name in and again no luck but then I altered the spelling of her name because I thought I was spelling her name wrong and I was right I was spelling her name wrong. When I typed in the correct spelling the first person on the list came up with 2 mutual friends and I clicked on that one and sent her a message asking her if she was married to a Paul and explained that I have been looking for him because he was my Youth pastor and I wanted to get back in touch with him blah blah blah. She sent me a message today saying I got the right person and that he isn't on Facebook yet but that she would sent him my information. I sent her a message with my email address and so I am hoping he emails me. I need to apologize to him for some things and so I am really hoping he contacts me. I think he will because we were really good friends even after I graduated from High School and moved out of my parents house. I had such a crush on him. He was such a hottie LOL. Jan

cool, I found an old friend from middle school through facebook, somehow he went to dorky in middle school to actually kinda cute now (maybe because none of us are adolescent anymore and don't have to worry about puberty induced unattractiveness) I wish there was a way to find another old friend of mine but I have no idea what her last name is and she lives in NYC so yeah, good luck with that, right?

That is good news jbug. Hope everything works out.
Facebook has been great for us this year. We started planning a class reunion. Started out on classmates.com but you have to pay to contact each other. Someone decided to move to facebook and we did all the contacting there. We now have over 100 classmates together on facebook. From all over the world. It has been great. |

That's great jbug. I hope he gets in touch with you. I had a cousin who I hadn't seen in 18+ years get in touch with me via facebook. Turns out we live in the same city - go figure. We've been emailing and talking by phone and hopefully will get together soon.
