I have to raise just over £2000 for charity

Anyone got any fundraising suggestions? Anything that comes to mind? Anything!

I have a few of my own but need as many ideas as possible!

Any help greatly appreciated ...plus you'll be replying to this thread for kids in Africa! ...note the tactical play of the charity conscience card!

Spanks in advance (yea, im that kinda girl)

A spaghetti dinner/cake auction. Like you provide the spaghetti dinner, have people pay for tickets to get in. And then you have kids/adults make cakes according to a theme. We did "Books" like harry potter, gone with the wind...etc. random. And then they get auctioned off to the highest bidder. It made us a bunch of money and the "library of chocolate" was the best cake ever!

Try getting in contact with Dounreay I dont know if they will cover you because of the distance you are from them but its worth a try.....

Also try some of the Rig owners/companies they may well donate money.

Some ideas...

> Garage sale (with a group of friends and/or family) and donate the money to charity

> Post a link on your Facebook account where people can donate money

> See if it's ok to post a link on PC to donate money to your charity

> E-mail your friends and family and kindly ask them to donate what they can to your charity (send them a link or tell them how to donate to your charity).

> Post signs around your university telling people about your charity and how they can donate

Whenever we needed to raise money, we would hold a day of fun - get local businesses to sponsor gifts, toys, etc, and hold contests where people pay to play
I'm from the southern part of Africa, btw!

Home crafts sales
Wash cars
Sub sale
Pie sale
Other food sales (Tip: Charge £2000 for one pie...you'll only need to sell one! )
