I saw this when I signed into yahoo the other day, I was so distressed to see that story, I actually teared up a little

My favorite of the messages the Poe fan left was...."..The torch will be passed on......."
Perhaps the 'torch' is a poetic license to life!

I saw that and was thinking about it also. I have to assume the person is unable to get out - in hospital or dead.
