Hey guys,

I just got accepted to the grad school at U of Ark and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the city? I have only ever been to Little Rock so I'm not familiar with western Ark. I have been camping in the Ozarks but up in Missouri so I'm not sure if it's the same feel?

I hate big cities and like being out in the country. From what I have looked up it doesn't look too big. One thing I'm concerned about is safety. Carbondale has been going down hill recently and it's gotten so bad that I have to make sure someone knows where I'm at if I'm walking to my car at night in case something happens. So I really hope it's not like that.

I'm going to visit the campus next month but was wanting some info so I know where to go/what to visit while I'm there.

Any info would be great!
