I got a new boss yesterday (major stress inducer for me.) but so far I really like him. He's a CA and really smart, so I know I'll be able to learn loads from him. He's also a really nice guy. Today I had my first real meeting with him, and it was about year end accruals. He asked really good questions, but basically supported most of my recommendations. The only weird thing, is he's the same age as me, and I'm used to my bosses being older - makes me feel like I'm a bit stuck in my position, but that's my issue. I deliberately took a more junior job than I'm qualified for, to get some recovery time under my belt.
I feel bad for my ex boss who was effectively demoted. But I really like reporting to another accountant because when I have year end, month end questions, he'll be able to understand what I'm talking about. --splitimage |

Yay for liking your new boss
![]() I'm also glad that you see that you aren't stuck in your position, rather you are in your position by healthy choice :thob: |
