I was out having a coffee this morning and usually have my camera with me. I happened to get a video of a young bald eagle eating a whole chicken . I don't know where he got it from . But the crows were not getting any. lol.

What a beautiful bird. The eagle, not the chicken so much.

With that beak and talons, I doubt those crows had the nerve to take on that eagle. Wow, what a film.

That is soooooo cool, Chris. (Left a comment on your vid...lmao).

Your vid brings back a memory of when I lived in Nevada some 25+ years ago, and my ex brought home an injured bird. He asked that I come out to the truck where he had the bird after finding it on the highway, injured.

It looked just like the one in your video. The ex sat in the truck just next to the bird, and invited me in the truck to sit next to it, as well. I tried. That bird stood to my shoulder..it was HUGE. The bird didn't like me, though. It hissed and snapped at me....yet allowed the ex to cradle it in his arms as though a newborn infant as he bottle fed it...LOL.
We kept the bird for a month and a half..he nursed it back to health, (until the wing healed), and released it in the wild again.

We later discovered that it's against the law to harbor any wild animal, despite of the reasons or intentions.....O.O

Nice video, Chris. You're very fortunate to have such beauty so nearby.
