Alot of times I'll notice a stupid message from photobucket saying users account inactive for 90 days. You took the time to search for this picture , wouldn't it be nice for the person you are sending it to to enjoy it. If you can copy this image and it won't paste in your message post . All you have to do is copy to my account (if you have a photobucket account) then copy it from there and paste it to your post.
![]() This is unnerving lol ![]()

Thanks for this! I'm afraid some of that come from friends who are no longer active here... but for those who just closed or lost their photobucket account this would be wonderful if they could and would use yours!
![]() Some really nice members have made some really nice avatars for me that I can't access anymore.

Sorry Sky . I think you misunderstood me . When I said copy to my account , I meant if you have a photobucket account there is an option when viewing someone elses pictures to copy to YOUR account . If you have one that is.

Yeah ok I'm totally confused!
![]() Are you saying that all those closed photobucket accounts pics are still there? If so, then copying them to an active account will retrieve them? OR That the ones that are closed are not accessible and you're talking about something I haven't a clue about since I don't use photobucket? ![]() ![]()

You are correct on the first one. Some pics are still accessible for copying but when they are posted they do not show up. Just a stupid photobucket logo saying customers account inactive for 90 days. Sorry for the confusion my dear. ![]()

Maybe you can explain why does this happen? I'm registered with them but don't have the addition account where you have to pay. Why do some pictures go through but other don't - could you explain why it happens only sometimes??

OK. When you register with photobucket, you create an account with a password. Then you create an album. All free.
When you search for a particular type of picture, if you find one you like, click on it and bring it up full size and that grey bar pops up and says "copy to my album". Click that. Go through the process. Once you copy it to your album, it becomes YOUR photo. So even if the old owner deletes their account, it is still your photo since it's the copy that's in YOUR album now. So when you decide to use it, it's your photo and it won't say that annoying message.
