Hello to all, I will keep this short - Am I alone in Britain? The meaning behind this is, are there any members out there from the UK? I dabble in insomnia, from 'time-to-time', plus I am satisfied with the interaction I have had with some of the current members, and I am thankful to one in particular (though I shall not name names). It's just I would like to meet/get to know/chew the fat or just generally take the proverbial piss! with someone/some-people living on GMT. I hope to here from you soon (that does include all continents, sub continents and all other deveritives).

Welcome! There are quite a few from the UK who would be glad to do all of the above with ya ^^. I myself am in the USA (not by choice was born here) but I'm generally awake when the UKers seem to be up and running. I look forward to visiting you during my insomnia nights too

Hi and welcome, 2complex! Sorry, you find Britain -- dismal. Is it the weather or the culture? Or both? I hope it's not the people as I find the British people lovely and charming.

I mostly play games so I don't know a lot of people at PC, but there are at least 3 people from the UK who regularly hang out in the games section. You might want to try posting your question in the "Have you ever" or the "Interview the next person" games to see if anyone responds from the UK. Also, look in the members' location on the left side of the screen and PM them. Good luck!

BTW, I liked your "Have you ever" question! Risque but true for me...

Thank you fox for your reply and mornigcalm I think my next step will be visiting the games section often, plus isn't it a pain when that happens .

Liljamie well remembered I must say it was a very very long day - but these days which aren't?!?!?!?!? Thankfully though I do still have all fingers and toes and no accidents to report on phew!! Hope to speak to you guys again in the future. If you all do not object I will request you as friends so it will be easier to converse in the future?
Generally it is the whether, but what is a british person anyway - like me England is losing it's identity (I only mention England as to be Scottish. Irish or Welsh is still something to be patriotic and proud about, if you are proud to be English then you are a boarderline racist who drinks to excess and engages in yobbish behaviour! Or so the papers and television programmes would have you believe) Bye bye for now

I'm from the US too....Pacific Northwest...Oregon.

We do have several folks from the UK though, I just don't know where they all are right now. My IPhone tells me it's 4:47 am January, 21 in London right now so maybe they're all still sleeping?

It's still yesterday here in Oregon. 8:49 pm on January, 20th. LOL!!

Anyway....you're not alone....and here on PC we're all kind of like a big family, so to us it doesn't matter where ya come from.

A big smile goes out to Elysium you're probably right they are most likely asleep (a wave of envy ruches over me). So its yesterday where you are, would you like the lottery results If only I had that knowledge (begin the dreams of being filthy rich now!)

I'm not from the UK but from sunny South Africa. I think our time zones are about and hour apart. You will often find me in games!

I'm from the UK too.... Well, Channel Islands. Close enough.

I'm usually about in the games section too.

I look forward to seeing you around.

2complex,
I am British, I was born and raised till I was 21 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. I moved to America and I reside her now just outside NYC. I would love to chat with you when you can't sleep, talk about the good ol memories of the homeland. I will vouch that the weather sucks, it's getting worse my parents say. where in Britain are you?

therealme,
Love your signature photo, Quadrophenia was that the title of the movie. I love that soundtrack.
