Some pics from the upcoming murder mystery PS3 title "Heavy Rain" expected to be released February 16th

Incredible Images from "Heavy Rain"

This game plays from the point of view of 4 characters, with a changing story based on the player's choices and actions. Should be very intriguing.
Thanks for this!

The game is exclusive to Playstation 3, there are no plans for any other platform...

Thus far, the only games I'd be willing to buy a PS3 for are the games from Ico ....but aren't only EARLY PS3's backwards compatible? Ugh. that'll be a pain to find one then. Seriously, do people who make counsels think once it's out nobody will want to play their old system's games anymore or if they are, are perfectly content having a jillion counsels taking up space? The ONLY reason why I'm not buying a DSi to replace my regular DS is no backwards compatibility... even though it comes in nice vibrant colors so it's REALLY annoying for me (and I know how much you've heard my "I want my systems to be in pretty vibrant colors and not just black, white and gray, and MAYBE some pale shades" rant so I'm not going to repeat it )
Thanks for this!

You are correct about PS3s I have a first run model, but I have in the last few months rarely played any of my ps2 games. The PS2 is rather small (smaller than Wii) and can be played on its side so space is not really an issue if you are really jonesing for a PS2 game. Sony's own marketing shows that its cleints have lost interest in BC as more PS3 games hit the market.

You can buy aftermarket kits to change color on your system. Not my thing but they do sell them.

Also Sony has found another way to PS2 Backwards compatibility. God of War and God of War 2 are now offered on PS3 via special addition that is formated to Blu-Ray, the visuals are improved from the original games. If this collection works in the market, they will do this with other titles, and close to the launch of "The Last Guardian" look for and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus special edition for PS3.

Also over 100 ps1 games can be downloaded via the PSN for 2-5 dollars each.
