I found this cool site where you punch in your address and it shows you pictures of the area of where you live. Nobody is safe anymore.

I can see how this might be scary to some people, but I have to say thanks for giving me and the girls some entertainment. We had a blast looking at this and actually saw my husband working in the rose garden lol. We even zoomed in on a window of our house. Now the girls are on the laptop roaming around the neighborhood via this website. This is the most fun we've had all day.

That's awesome!
My street was small and secluded so they had no photos, but they had photos of the main street so I could see my sister's house. :P

Ever since I wrote my 7th grade essay on the Space Needle, I've been so interested in Seattle. It's so cool to be able to see the city I want to move to someday

Hi, You are right. I put in my address and my house showed up. I believe the picture came from google earth because it is the same picture as when I used the google earth site. The pic is actually about 1 and a half to 2 years old though because there is a for sale sign in front of the house so it was just before we bought it. Peace - Dennis

I can't see my house because I live down a really long driveway but I did get to see a few of my relatives houses.

Can't blame you for wanting to move to Seattle. This is a really great place to live and there is so much to here. Oh, and the weather is milder than Michigan's.

Google has been doing this for years as does the government... but it is neat to pull up your address and see how things have changed or to locate your sister that lives many states way.

Boy...does this bring back memories.....

Went to the house I was raised in...HOLY...took a stroll down the streets I played on for so many years. Down to the church n school I attended and the parks I played at.
Sadly, tho...there are no more open fields that we played so freely in anymore.
Such is "progress".

Thanks, Chris, for linking some quite old n fond memories. Made me smile.

My house isn't on there because we live in the middle of nowhere. Did look at closest village and it was really cool.
