I put a few things on craigslist the other day. Got my first email that someone was interested in the spice jars I listed. I was oh so excited. Hoping this would be my first sell.....
Thing is they sent me a video because they wanted to be sure that what I have is like the ones they have.. Sounded logical to me... So I try to view the video and you have to download a toolbar to see video.. So of course I downloaded it... still could not view the video AJ came down and I asked him to help,... He said mooooooooooom.... You just downloaded a virus.. Why did you do that? I said I dunno.. Cuz it said I had to download this to view the video... He said it is a virus... I told him I responded back and told them I downloaded the toolbar and the video would not work... Guess they be getting a big laugh by now.... dummy me... Was born a blonde but now have gray roots.. Guess I am a true blonde... lol |

I expect most have a story or two to tell about those friendly folks bent on infecting our systems.

Yes I too have done the down load virus dance. (twice) So you have my sympathies.
Last time it cost $308 to get rebuilt and it still has a few quirks. Computer needed to be rebuilt twice. My brother will get feral if I open any more email when I don't know who its from. Not telling you what color my hair is either...... lols. |
