Well, first off, don't cut it anymore...

Increase your protein intake slightly, get good sleep, exercise, and drink a good amount of water.

I have heard that if you trim (not cut) the ends every few weeks that this stimulates hair growth, but I don't know the science behind that.

I have cut my hair short too and then thought....what have I done.

It will grow back, but other than the above, I think it will depend on how fast your hair grows back. It's on hair time...and that's not always the same time we're on.

Take care

Prenatal vitamins can make your hair grow almost twice as fast. The reason they recommend you get your hair trimmed every 6 - 8 weeks is to prevent damaged ends from traveling further up the hair shaft and causing breakage.

All good advice, along with a little bit of patience.

And actually you should still cut it. If you just stop cutting your hair your ends will break and not allow it to grow any longer. So you still need to trim it every now and then. I hate having my hair long but my friends think it looks good and so does my bf. So I let it grow out and then chop off like 12 inches and I friggen love it when my hair is short. Then again I have super thick curly hair that has to be thinned out! AHHHH! Hair is dumb. We should all just shave our heads lol

actually the growth is not influenced by split ends in any way. It's just matter of aesthetics.

And I wished my hair was curly. Why is thick and huge hair perceived negativelly?

And hair is awesome!!! I love my hair, even if it's straight.
