Introducing the Nissan Leaf. An all electric car on the Versa Platform. The retail price is 32,000 but thanks to an availible 7500 dollar tax credit it will be the first electric made by major manufacturer for under 30,000
![]() Nissan states that the car is capable of going 100 miles or so between charges and with a special 240 volt adapter can be "quick charged" to 80 percent of its power in 30 minutes. The standard home 120 volt requires 7-8 Hours to fully charge the Leaf. |

How much would it cost to replace the battery? That would be like a totaled car if it went? Am car-impaired, do not know the first thing about them but am curious.
Way to pricy for moi but I think at least it's a step |

Somehow the wrong pic got posted on my post, here is what it actually looks like.
![]() As I understand it the battery cost will actually be part of the car's financing. As for the price, it is the cheapest of its kind currently marketed. The Volt is close to 40K before the tax credit and the Tesla sports car is over 100K |
