Sorry I haven't been around lately but I have been in the hospital. I got an infection in my incision point and my infection ate my stitches from my surgery and I had to have emergency surgery twice to have my surgeon take away some dead skin.
Long story short I haven't been eating like I should because I have been afraid of gaining weight so that hasn't been aiding in my recovery so I have been banished to my parents house for awhile so my mom can monitor my eating. I don't know how long I will be here. For sure 2 weeks because that is when my next doctor's appointment is.

The homehealth lady just left and she said it seems that the wound is healing well. I was glad to hear that. My mom said she feared that the doctor would put me back in the hospital because she said it looked bad. I am hoping that it isn't the case. I am so tired of being in the hospital.
I am hoping to go home after my next doctor's visit which is on Tuesday. I am eating well without much guidance from my mom. So we will see what the doctor says. Jan

Hi, Jbug! I hope you will heal quickly. I remember how kind you were to me when I was caring for my mother during her illness and passing.
