I'm so excited! Me and my sister are planning a trip to go to Paris and England next summer! Only thing is, I don't know much about what there is to do for sight seeing except for the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the palace in London. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should make sure to go see while I'm there?

I'm excited to go shopping in Paris! I bet they have great perfume there! Now if only my doctor would give me a TON of ativan for the plane ride, I"ll be all set!

You'll love Paris and london - there's so much to do in both cities. I love London especially. Going to the Tower of London is good and really educational and fun. Do a tour of Westminster cathedral, it's really informative. If you like sherlock Holmes stories go to the Baker street Museum, it's not really a museum and it's really touristy but it's a total laugh - they've set up rooms to look like Holme's rooms and they have props taken from all the novels and it's very hands on so you can take photos and pose with stuff.

If I had to recommend a guide book - I'd say get the dorling Kindersley guide books. They're easily the best guide books in my opnion.

Tower of London is a must see, you will need a whole day and take a packed lunch, make sure you get in to see the Royal Jewels....

Natural History Museum is a great day out too.... Plus its free ! Again a packed lunch.

London Eye is also a must. Will take an hour or so plus time to get there so make it a morning or afternoon thing.

London Dungeons is also a must ! Scary but my kids have been so not too bad.

See if you can get to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert of some sort its worth a night out.

Houses of parliment nice place to take photos of but only an hour or so.

Covent Garden should be top of the list make it a nice warm day pref a Saturday or Sunday you will see lots of brilliant buskers and you can go down the stairs for a glass of wine. Take a packed lunch and expect to spend the day there as it really is entertaining....

China Town for an all you can eat chinese meal go in the evening its really a nice place to be you may get lucky and see a man/woman telling fortunes .

Oxford St for shopping if you are into that sort of thing.

Harrods is a must if only to say you have been there.

Traffalger Square too if only to feed the pigeons lmao.

Tate modern.

If I think of anymore I will add them I really hope you have a great time !

I love London! I remember going to Traffalgar Square, Harrod's, & lots of other really neat places! I also went to Greenwich (I actually drew a blank on how to spell that! ); it's really neat, too! Try to see Big Ben & Tower Bridge (I think it's Tower Bridge, but I've drawn a blank). Be sure to say hi to Paddington Bear, too! I love Paddington! I have a shirt with him on it, a stuffed animal, & a book. I also have an adorable bear from Harrod's. I love perfume, too!

I don't know if you already know this, but some of their words are different. For example, a "flat" is an apartment, "bobby" is the police, the "lift" is an elevator, & if you order carry-out at a restaurant, you say "take away." Also, the "tube" is the subway.

The only thing I've seen in Paris is Charles De Gaulle airport, which is where I stopped to refuel on the way to Israel.

You'll have fun!
