I'm so excited! Me and my sister are planning a trip to go to Paris and England next summer! Only thing is, I don't know much about what there is to do for sight seeing except for the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the palace in London. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should make sure to go see while I'm there?
I'm excited to go shopping in Paris! I bet they have great perfume there! Now if only my doctor would give me a TON of ativan for the plane ride, I"ll be all set!

You'll love Paris and london - there's so much to do in both cities. I love London especially. Going to the Tower of London is good and really educational and fun. Do a tour of Westminster cathedral, it's really informative. If you like sherlock Holmes stories go to the Baker street Museum, it's not really a museum and it's really touristy but it's a total laugh - they've set up rooms to look like Holme's rooms and they have props taken from all the novels and it's very hands on so you can take photos and pose with stuff.
If I had to recommend a guide book - I'd say get the dorling Kindersley guide books. They're easily the best guide books in my opnion. --splitimage |

I love London! I remember going to Traffalgar Square, Harrod's, & lots of other really neat places! I also went to Greenwich (I actually drew a blank on how to spell that!
![]() ![]() I don't know if you already know this, but some of their words are different. For example, a "flat" is an apartment, "bobby" is the police, the "lift" is an elevator, & if you order carry-out at a restaurant, you say "take away." Also, the "tube" is the subway. The only thing I've seen in Paris is Charles De Gaulle airport, which is where I stopped to refuel on the way to Israel. You'll have fun! ![]() ![]()
