I had my eyes operated on because of a small growth on both eye lids, I have now plasters over where they cut me.

My five year old was telling his six year old friend about it as she was asking why I have plasters on my eye lids ? He told her 'its because she is getting new eye brows'.
Thanks for this!

Sounds likely to me! Hope there's not much pain and any swelling has gone down and you're healing well.

((Tishie)) - were these growths on the outside or inner side of the eyelid. I hope you heal well. That's a funny story.

Before I was born, my mother had a large goiter(growth on her thyroid). If it was done today it would be a simpler incision, but my mother's incision was from one side to the other. So my brother went to school and told the class, that his mother had her head removed, so they could take out her thyroid and they sewed it back on lol.
