I took the test this morning... I'm pregnant... my emotions are mixed. very mixed. I'm very excited about it! don't get me wrong! we just can't financially afford it, so things will definitely be tight for a while. we might have to move in with my husband's faily. plus he's opening a cafe in 3 weeks, so we're really busy busy busy.

Many congrats, and also many relaxing hugs and breaths! lol.

Want to know a not so secret secret? My obstetrician told me that at least HALF of all pregnancies are unplanned surprises. And that even those who are well off worry about money when a child is coming. And that in the majority of cases noone is ever truly "ready" or "not busy and has time" or anything else. Babies have a way of making themselves when they want to be made.

If you are christian, then you might say God sent you a baby now because he felt you needed it now, or the baby needed it now.Everything happens for a reason. You will make it work! I know you said you wanted one, and everyone has mixed feelings when they find out they are pregnant, i have yet to meet a woman who even if they were trying for years suddenly was pregnant and not sure what to think for at least a short period of time.

Congratulations (((ChinaDoll531))) - this is wonderful. Don't worry about the money. You'll probably be given so much stuff, you won't need to buy much. You could breast feed if you like - this saves on formula. For 3 yrs now I've been shopping at discount stores and have saved so much money - you can save this way. I feel completely cheated that I ever shopped at regular stores.

So many women wait until the perfect time(established careers etc) and end up not being able to get pregnant. BTW I was nervous and a bit scared when I got pregnant too, but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I hope you have the best pregnancy and a healthy baby that will bring joy to you and your husband. Good luck with your business.

byzantine! my thoughts exactly! I may not hink now is a good time, but... when you're taking EVERY precation to not get pregnant and you end up pregnant anyway, I take it to mean that God knows better than I do. I may not think it's good timing but it must be. things have been rough with the family lately, so maybe this is meant o be the joy that we all need right now!

Many hugs and congrats to you. Such wonderful news! Try not to worry too much about financial issues, lynn is right, you will be given many things by friends and family. This is what happened to my sister when she was pregnant - she hardly had to buy anything!
