Collecting one Turkey and five Peking Chickens tomorrow they are all around 2 to 5 weeks old will put pictures up as soon as .....

Are you going to be raising them? Is a Peking chicken different from a standard chicken?

Raising them till they are about six months old then for the freezer, the Turkey is for Christmas. They are normal chickens just have large breasts. |

Thanks for the link - it says they're popular in the U.K. I've never heard of them - they're beautiful looking chickens and their breasts do look poofier than the standard chicken. You're lucky you live in an area where you can raise them.

I wish I lived in an area where we could raise chickens. They just started allowing people in the suburbs the option to have chickens but I don't think my neighbors would be happy at all lol. I feel sorry for the way most chickens are kept in cages. My husband grew up with chickens on his property and he said they taste better. I love chicken.
