I made it through the week at camp with only a few misfortunes. Monday night, I thought that my foot would look nice with a huge bruise on it. I dropped my cell phone on it. Then on Wednesday, I didn't put sunscreen on, spent 3 hrs at the pool, and ended up with a back burnt enough to cook on. Regardless of these mishaps, my daughter and I had a blast. Going to call it an early night so we can catch up on lost sleep. I missed being able to come here every day. Very gentle hugs to all.

I'm glad you had fun! I'm sorry about your foot & sunburn.
 I hope you feel better soon & sleep well. I'm sure it's nice to be back in your own bed!

Can you tell us more about the camp? I am going to be a counselor at a camp for the first time ever, that the camp existed plus my 1st time as counselor.....nervous!!

Junerain: what would you like to know? Each camp is different. This particular camp was for the whole family. It is like going to Sunday School each day. The kids have class seperate from the adults where they have a lesson and a craft they work on. Then there is a recreation time which generally means swimming. In the evenings we have a worship/preaching service with campfire afterwards.
I have never been a councelor for a camp, so I can't really help you there. All I know is that this camp is the highlight of my summer.
