Me myself I am extremely sensitive, if I find myself in a car repair shop/automotive store/ place of living with no pictures on the wall/anyhwre without a lot of sweet charm or personality..I excuse myself immediately and RUN for somewhere that does make me feel more comfortable....

I have been told folks feel a bit of this...but that my case is extreme...

Anyone else??

I find myself unable to function in a chaotic environment...like if my house gets too messy and needing cleaning, it is such a distraction to me, I can't get anything done, plus, it affects my state of mind.

I'm really sensitive to the moods surrounding me. I don't know if its so much the enviroment, but the way people are reacting to things.

Nope. I do not spend much time looking at the ambiance.

It depends on the day, the moment, the situation.

For the most part I can make myself comfortable anywhere, I have been told I can be very resilent and adaptive. But on a bad day I am hyper sensitive and easy to startle and only want to be in certain enviroments with certain company.

Yes always sensitive, some places agitate me no end others I can sit quietly comfy, others depress me or frighten me...could be another reason I am agoraphobic?

When I am not in a very comfortable place, I usually end up talking to the people around me in order to distract myself from not really feeling that comfortable......like when I am sitting in the waiting room while my car is being worked on......there is usually some interesting people to talk to or they have a TV to watch (which is something for me since I haven't had a TB for 3 years).

I agree with Seeker about having a messy house.....it can end up driving me really crazy & I will finally drop everything else & clean, clean, clean......but the summer is too hot to clean in a house with no AC, so I have to admit.....my house is messy & dirty.......so I try to keep the area around where I am at least neat & as clean as possible (not easy with 3 dogs surrounding me all the time).

Ah Junerain.......I want to jump into your signature & go riding on the beach with you........what a wonderful picture.

Usually in a hospital , but that's about it. I spend most of my time outside.

Yeah.
I can feel really... odd in new places. Kind of like there's something terribly off with the room/place. Sometimes they even scare me.
Or freakin' elated and bubbly.
It depends.

I am sensitive to dirty and dusty places. My skin crawls and I can't wait to get out.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
