My router went out over a month ago & I have had to use my computer connected to the antenna in my computer room. I can finally use my laptop in my bedroom now, the only room in the house that is AC. It got so hot that I couldn't stand to be on my computer. Not only that, but sitting on the chair at the table with my laptop on it would cut off the circulation to my legs & my feet would swell horribly (probably the heat added to that).

Woo Hoo, finally now I can use my computer in relative comfort, stretching out on my comfortable bed in a cool room

Found a very inexpensive router which was great.....I was worried that it was going to be very expensive but it was less expensive than my internet provider said it would be when they were out here fixing my connector boxes for the wiring to my internet antenna that had blown out in one of our huge lightening storms.

It's too hot to do much of anything except set in the cool room right now. According to the temp it was only 93F yesterday but I have a temperature gage that has a sensor I had sitting directly in the sun in the afternoon registered 119F. Ugh.....no one can function in that temp......I was melting this morning before I got the small room AC turned on. Didn't need it over the weekend but the heat hit us early in the morning yesterday.

Wonderful being back to using my laptop in the wireless mode.....Woo Hoo!!!!!!! What a feeling of freedom.

I am now hibernating in my master bedroom in the only AC area of the house........even the temperature of 82 feels cool compared to the rest of the house.

I hate this hot weather as I end up being so non-functional. Even at 82F, I'm not able to move around much without being completely drenched, but at least I can sit quietly & stay mostly cooler.

First thing when I moved my laptop back into my bedroom, the router lost connection with the internet.....ugh, ended up recycling the power several times before I finally got the green light......now I'm up & running wireless.

Best part.....no swollen legs & feet.....just kicking back on my nice comfy padded bed.

I was up most of the night last night working on some painting......didn't sleep.....went to see my psychologist & was emotionally exhausted....came home & fell asleep. When I woke up, I thought it was morning when it was actually night. What a strange feeling....couldn't even figure out what day or time it really was. Ugh, hopefully I will catch up on my sleep & find the energy to function again.

Maybe having my computer next to my bed isn't the best thing for catching up on my sleep, but when I crash from exhaustion, nothing keeps me awake.
