I have friends who use AIM, some who use Yahoo, and others who use MSN.
And a few who use something called Google Talk and Jabber.
I am wondering if there is a instant messaging platform that encompasses most or all of this different messengers?
I think it would be so much easier to have a single platform I can use to talk to all my friends on, instead of having to
remember all my different user names and passwords. That gets annoying at heck!

I use yahoo and i can talk to those on MSN - it just doesnt give em as many smileys when they are logged on - have you tried adding them all to one service? I didnt even realise that they were on MSN until one day i said to my neice that i was happy she had it and she said she didnt lol she was on MSN

hmm... I didn't know you could do that.
Thanks for the tip!

My Yahoo screen name and my MSN are actually the same thing, because I just use a MSN Live ID (or whatever it is)... and when I signed up it said you could use your email address, and I'm lazy so I didn't want to sign up for a new email address. LOL... maybe I should do that.

I use AIM to chat friends and have MSN set up to let me know when I have new email.
