hey.

so: i've a friend who wants to make a forum based on spiritual beliefs, the gods, that kind of thing.. and i've agreed to help her- even though i don't know anything about spiritual stuff, i have had experiences with running forums as i helped my friend bethany for a while.

so would like to ask some questions and get ansers, so i can pass them on to my friend when we speak tomorrow:

1. if you were running a spiritual forum, what would the home page look like.

2. what are some good ideas for member ranks

for the administrators, she wants to use order of the black flame, which i think is very cool. we don't have any other ranks though... we want spiritual ones

thanks for any help

Here are some examples:

http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/forum.php
http://theholisticcare.com/forums/index.php
http://forums.riverofenlightenment.com/

Useful, because the people at all three would (likely) be willing to answer questions about things like keeping out spammers and keeping the discussions civil. Selecting a team of moderators and advertising for members and so on. That kind of thing.

If you choose just one, I'd suggest Astral Dynamics.

The problem is that Spirituality is a very big category. There are a lot of different versions. Robert Bruce sets a very good example of balanced development and his approach works with a wide variety of backgrounds.
