it is very interesting as to what constitutes too much information for each individual

Thanks for the article. I agree we need to be careful. I worry about my daughters age on Facebook - she showed me other girls her age 12/13 yrs. - some of them have bikini and underwear shots pf themselves - anyone can copy those pictures and post them on photobucket or anywhere.

I had to get a new email address because I had lied a lot when I signed up for it. I didn't want my information to be used at least accurately.
I couldn't remember what I had put. My mothers birthplace? My mothers maiden name? Don't remember what I said. They of course thought my account was compromised and closed it.
My granddaughter was scandalized that I lied but my daughter let her know I was protecting myself on line.
So I had to establish my identity on line again. I made up something more simple and wrote it down.
You really can't be too careful especially since there seem to be break ins to personal information weekly. Banks, Face book even highly secret government information.
I was wondering if I should make my blog public or not. Simple things like that.
My husband is probably the only person on earth that pays his bills the old fashioned way but information was stolen by people that paid on line.
You never can be too careful...that is why I don't tweet. What if you said you would be on vacation and some crook was following you on tweeter?

Here is a more light hearted look at Face book in real life.
