Tonight on the way home after I picked my mother up from work, we saw the "Extreme Makeover : Home Edition" bus. My mother watches the show all the time. The bus was pulling out of a restaurant parking lot. My mother wanted pictures but we were going the oppossite direction. I told her 'watch this'. I turned into the motel parking lot behind the restaurant and drove straight through to the other side to catch the bus for the pictures. I used to work at the motel and they know I am crazy. Thankfully, the bus parked at a convenience store for the night. We got to take the pictures of the bus and the driver waved at us and smiled. We did not knock on the door and ask for autographs. My mother has already embarrassed me by talking to Larry "the Cable Guy". My husband heard him on the radio telling about the grandmother he met in Louisiana and what she had told him. My nieces (her granddaughters) were like "Granny how could you say that".
My mother and I were feeling real blue and then we saw the bus. It doesn't take much to give us thrill. LOL.
