You get a month free and after that it costs $8/month for unlimited streaming to your computer/TV and another $2 if you want to receive DVDs in the mail. They have a pretty large selection for streaming but some are only available on DVD such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Johnny Carson. And if you want more DVDs at one time the cost increases.

I am still in my first free month and I have watched all 3 seasons of Arrested Development, Hairspray, Stand by Me, Moon, working my way through the bleep van bleep shows and I dunno what all.

If you want to stream to your TV you will need an Xbox 360, Wii or PS 3.

I didn't used to watch much TV but it is addictive and the selections are pretty good.

I am assuming you have high speed internet, yes?

I'd give Netflix a thumbs up too. They have a pretty good selection of movies (popular, indie, documentaries, special interest, etc). You can stream lots of them and one DVD at a time works pretty well for me to access the ones that are not available via streaming. I also like the way their site helps you find videos that you might enjoy, based on those you have seen (or just click to find related themes) and those you have rated. It's a major source of entertainment & a good source of knowledge for me these days.

You get a lot of bang for your entertainment buck with Netflix. Each of us has a system to watch in our room and there is something for everyone. I haven't noticed a lot of current movies, but I mainly use the streaming feature. With mail time we get between 2 and 3 DVDs a week.

I think it's a good deal. Right now we are watching season 2 of law and order. They shift things out every so often, but if they don't have it via stream, then you can always request the dvd. And they ship out quickly, and they get it usually quickly as well. (I recieve a dvd day one, send it back day two. and get another dvd on day three or four).

I LOVE netflix! I started on the free trial amd after that I had to keep getting it they are a great company, and if you ever have a problem they will fix it. Recently my instant streaming feature wasn't available for half the day, but I gotna discount on the monthly fee for that month! I love netflix and now they are thinkin of making all the movies available for instant streaming. Score!

Netflix is truly awesome. I went for a month, and was actually going to start paying in a week, but my computer started having problems and I couldn't watch DVD's anymore. I promised them I would be back when I got my computer fixed. They have a great program. I will tell you one thing though, get the 2 DVD out at a time deal. Also, it's much better to get the DVD's sent to you than to get them online. The problem is, they have a wider selection if you order the DVD's and online they don't have a great selection. Other than that I give them a two thumbs up. The best part about mailing them back is you don't have to pay! They even give you a neat package where you return it in the same package they gave it to you in! It's a great deal and I would definitely start it if I were you. Just give it the month free trial and see how you like it.

I've been with Netflix for a year now and either get things to the computer or through the mail. Have had no problems and friends who recommended it to me gets theirs through blu-ray and wii too. It is easy to change plans monthly as needed. It is also nice how they track where things are, a queue for the things you want to watch and what is to be sent next, for the things coming in the mail. The only issue is that for the newest movies there can be a delay as they are not always available right when they come out.
