I am cooking a dinner for my friend and myself. Neither one of us had plans for the day so we decided to do our own little dinner

Wow thats great you both thought of it ! I love having people for dinner it means you actually make an effort especially if you are only cooking for one.
Thanks for this!

I am cooking dinner today; free turkey from the grocery store points so the dogs will have a bit of a treat too and LOTS of leftovers. Wish I could share this everyone. Sending thanksgiving wishes out to you all!
Thanks for this!

We had an all out kill my arteries dinner yesterday with my parents. Today I'm just making a turkey breast with a couple of sides and a pumpkin pie. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I made a fabulous dimmer for just my Hubby and me. I tried to keep it as healthy as I could. I even have 2 healthy desserts. One that we already sampled was a crustless pumpkin pie. Just a regular pumpkim pie but I used egg beaters instead of whole eggs and Splenda instead of sugar. It was delious.

I'm about to have the apple pie next, made with real sugar but phyllo dough instead of a regular pie crust. I added some of those red hot cinnamin candies to it as well.

We pigged out and loved every second of it. The new dog even got to taste some of the gravy. We just adopted him on Tuesday, so he is a bit off his food and I didn't want to have him get a tummy ache with too much people food. he is a sweetheart.
