We had that happen about 2 years ago here in Pennsylvania (US, east coast). It was very strange to say the least!

We had that happen here in Indiana once... Lightening and snow... I love them both... the power and the tranquility... To have them together was an awesome experience for me.
Thanks for this!

We had similiar weather here. The news was absolutely flipping out because we have never had a tornado this late in the year. Never with snow (if the news is to believed).

A very strange weather year.

Weather is one of my interests. We have a meteorologist in the Chicago TV market, who si very good, he refers to it as Thundersnow. I have been thru it before, it is very interesting to say the least.

BTW, because thunder indicates a well organized system, if you are getting Thundersnow, you can expect to get dumped on with a lot of snow.
