So what's yours?

My is "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott. It is the only black and white movie I will watch. But I love the idea of the movie and I watch all versions of it every Christmas.

I'm going to go with the stereotypical answer of A Christmas Story. but I really do love it. It's so funny.

I have a couple.

One that I only saw a few times and isn't rerun, for some reason, "A Midnight Clear" with Mickey Rooney as a grandpa who comes back to take his grandson to NYC for Christmas as they had planned before the grandpa's death.

Another is "The Christmas Gift" with John Denver.

And a recent one with Henry Winkler but I can't remember the name of it, maybe "The Christmas Visitor".

"It's a Wonderful Life" too, although I am kind of tired of it now and didn't enjoy it enough to watch the entire movie this year.
Thanks for this!

Let's see:

1. White Christmas
2. Miracle on 34th Street
3. The Bishop's Wife
4. Holiday Inn
5. The original Christmas Carol
6. Santa Clause I, II, III
7. It's a Wonderful Life

Actually, there are too many to name, but these are some of my favs!

I think I remember the Henry Winkler one as well. Was that the industrial revolution version of the Christmas Story based in New England, that ends with the old industrial leader taking the orphaned factory boy under his wing? I only remember seeing it once, but it has been one of my favorites.

It makes me laugh so much when I see 'Elf'...don't know why...just does. I haven't seen it yet this year. I liked watching all three Shrek movies Christmas Day but there wasn't a mention of Christmas in any of them.

Before Christmas I watched every Christmas TV movie, this year. I used to wrap presents watching them or watching some of the Christmas music shows, it is sort of a tradition even though I don't have so many gifts to wrap anymore.

I love all the classics too.
