I am still fairly new here and never got into a routine of being here and getting the support offered by so many people. Now I find myself relocating to a new city for a job and have found myself lonely which usually spells trouble for me. The hard part is that my wife can't relocate with me for 6 months. So I have to deal with the loneliness for awhile. Based on my past I am not comfortable going out and making new friends as I have allowed myself to be drawn into trouble in the past.
So...any ideas on constructive and healthy ways to stay busy and overcome loneliness?

Thanks for any ideas
KD
