I started my new job today & it was great. Today was very low stress as it was all just orientation to the hospital. We got an overview of the hospital's history, programs, fire & safety, occupational health and tour of the hospital. It was really interesting. I won the get to know each other Bingo game, and won a SickKids water bottle, which is kind of cool.

The finance director and 2 of the controllers came and met the three of us who are starting as analysts for lunch, so that was nice. And they've put together a formal 5 day training program for us. There are a lot of nice perks to working there like subsidized gym memberships and discounted transit passes, plus onsite exercise programs.

I think it's going to be a great place to work, and I'm really excited about it.
