The Washington Post has an article on suggestions for the Metro (subway) system's new cars. One is:

"I would add a lounge car to every train with a bar and jazz combo. Riders would pay a surcharge to ride the car."

Dang, they'd have to quit needing so many transfers so the rides would be long enough; maybe they can put two or three lounge cars on each train so the lounge car transfers from the green/yellow line to the red or blue, instead of the people? One could ride from Reagan National all the way out to Rockville? Would certainly make that airport more popular?
