We are supposed to be getting some nasty weather tonight in the form of ice and snow. They are predicting 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice and 7-9 inches of snow. So they are calling for power outages so I may be offline for awhile if that happens. I am thinking this storm sounds like the one we got 2 years ago and some places didn't get their power back on for 2 weeks. But that was in the rural areas and I live in the city so if I lose power it shouldn't take that long.

But wanted to let you know nothing happened to me I just lost power and am freezing to death.

That front coming down has really made the wind kick up here; the sky was tan and there's dirt everywhere. I could hardly keep my car straight today.

O I think a third of the US is going to have many similar issues if not more crippling. I know our road started drifting around 4 pm here with the snow we already had from last weeks storm. We then started out with freezing rain and then sleet then snow. The snow has stopped temporarily till the next storm comes in around tomorrow afternoon I think they said. I'm hoping the weather permits me to get to the hospital and back before the bad stuff gets here. We are going to check the weather out at 4am here and see if we are ok to go around 4:30. Ice or no ice, snow or no snow.. I probably won't be able to be on the computer much for a couple weeks anyways lol. Hope everyone stays safe and take care!

Be sure to fill your bathtubs with water just in case you lose power you will have water to flush your toilet with! Mine is filled because we are supposed to get ice tomorrow pretty much all day....I always lose power when that happens.

Luckily we dodged the bullet on losing power. I guess instead of wide area power outages it was contained to just a small area and they were able to get it back on the same day.

It is supposed to be below freezing all week so don't anticipate having therapy this week. It seems that when it snows as much as it did yesterday and then stays cold the clinic stays closed.

Hopefully mom and dad get to come into town tomorrow though and bring me my grocery money because I am running low on some things.

I made some meatloaf last night let's just saw EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. It was NASTY!! I don't know if it was because I was using tortilla crumbs and maybe not enough liquid or what but that thing was so gross. I am very glad Ken didn't answer his door for his meatloaf. I'm not even sure if ketchup could have saved this.

So hopefully mom and dad can come bring me my grocery money tomorrow.
