I dunno.. memories of better days surfaced. Happier days. A spring in my step. A smile in my voice. Fire in my soul...All vanished... Left with not even a spark in my eye. Sad we let "experiences" I guess push us back to the dark cave, afraid to live again, unkept, tattered and torn. Sadder yet, are when "happier days" flash in front of us, taunting us.

Do believe I read the wrong book about life. Yes, I know we all are responsible for our lives and what we do with it. My pitty party for the year.. Just wish I'd find that "joy" again... Joy, come out, come out wherever you are...

radio - we are all allowed pity parties every now and then. Sometimes it's hard to not think "why me?"

I only hope that the love and support you feel from everyone on here (including me) can make you feel some joy. I love reading your posts and you have helped me through some really tough times. I can't pretend to know what you're going through but keep your head up! You are loved and much appreciated!

Yes, I can relate to this. Whilst I am free from the chains of depression at the moment, I have never re-discovered joy that was so cruelly taken away from me. I am happy .... but joy? No, I don't think so.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
