Zoning came by and did a follow up on the "kitchen" that was removed.. Guess we aren't aloud to have a microwave or a toaster oven upstairs as that is supost to be a kitchen and we aren't aloud two kitchens..

Then they said there isn't a permit for the sunroom, deck and shed.. lol
AJ's dad bought this house with the sunroom, deck and shed already here.

JUst got the news a few minutes ago.. Seems this guy will draw up a plan for $900 and submit it for approval or something like that.....

SO weird.. Zoning said there wasn't any complaints and all this is a follow up... Some follow up, wouldn't you say!

Geesh.

Sorry ((radio flyer)) - that really stinks. If the sunroom, deck and shed were already there, why should you all be penalized for that? Have AJ's dad give this office a call and see if there's a way around it.

Aw, cmon, Radio flyer - surely you have $900 to spare. Check under those couch cushions again - those marbles might be worth something!

One summer we got a notice out of the blue saying the trim on our garage was "unsightly" and needed to be fixed within a very short time period. If not fixed, we would receive a severe fine, wouldn't qualify for insurance (home OR auto) or even driver's license renewal until our garage meets their standards. (um, WHY were they in my back yard?)

Yowza! At the time my son was still recovering from multiple pulmonary effusions due to a blood clot (basically numerous heart attacks of the lungs) and was on blood-thinner. My husband had balance problems because of bad knees, hips, and spurs on each of his vertebra.

I was a nervous wreck watching the two of them up on that roof hammering away and painting that trim in the sweltering heat. It nearly killed us all, but they got it done. We still had to pay the fine.

When I think of all the things I need for my home, the trim on the back of my garage doesn't really play that big of a part.

I hope and pray people will be fair with you. There are so many "sharks" out these days.

Thanks kathy and lynn... This is all so weird...Geesh the deck, sunroom and shed were here when AJ's dad bought the house. Wasn't a problem with the deck, sunroom and shed when zoning was here before and we had to remove the kitchen upstairs.. Only problem there was a single family house could not have two kitchen.. Both kitchens were here when the house was bought....Odd now since the only thing in the upstairs kitchen area is the microwave and small toaster over which was used to reheat pizza and the micorwave was used to warm up burgers and make hot water for hot chococolate..And I gues we are not even aloud to have a small microwave or small toaster oven upstairs... so weird huh...THey said a toaster oven and microwave makes a kitchen? shrugs houlders

I dunno just is so weird.. Guess they are gonna tear everything down, maybe. all I can do is laugh.. again.... Strip the house to nothing and AJ dad has a mortgage of over $400,000... What a life. The house itself is nothing to brag about. Is very small...Mtg of $2,500 and now it might be stuff going to be torn down... what a hoot.. huh.... No wonder folks go nuts these days....

The house is actually in many ways a "rag".. sure hope AJ's dad can settle everything....I have a headache.. going back to bed// yawns This is just alllllllll toooo much to deal with......................
