I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing about me and my milestones but I have worked so hard for this. But anyway I have almost lost 250lbs. I have 2 more pounds to go before that happens. I am officially under 200lbs. I started out at 442lbs. So I have lost 2 people.

Saturday my aunt and I are going to the local botanical gardens and doing some pictures so my avatar will change as soon as I get some downloaded. That way you can see the new me.

If you want to me to stop posting about my milestones let me know and I will.

Jan

Wow, Jan--congratulations!! I am sure you've worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, which is quite impressive. I am very happy for you and I wish you continued success and happiness.

I, for one, encourage you to continue posting about your progress. It's wonderful and refreshing to read good news, and it certainly brings me a bit of cheer. You also should continue posting as you may serve as inspiration for not only other folks with similar experiences to yours, but to anyone looking for a boost and the motivation to get going on any worthwhile endeavor.

I LOVE hearing about your milestones!!

Hearing your story and seeing your success really inspires me to be a healthier person. I am planning on having Gastric Bypass Surgery at the end of the year. I have my first appointment with my Surgeon this coming Monday. My insurance requires that I have six months of medically monitored nutrition and exercise in order for them to okay the surgery. It's a new beginning. I'm excited and scared.

Thank you for sharing about your experiences. I'm excited for you and I can't wait to see the new pics!! It is not an easy goal to get to, but your are doing it!!

I doubt anyone is tired of hearing about your journey, but if you ever want to talk you can always PM me...I'm around.

Congratulations. You've done awesome.

And please keep posting about your milestones, I love reading about good news and happy things in people's lives.

You're also really inspirational to me. I don't have as much weight to lose as you did, but I have quite a bit to go - I've lost 21 lbs so far and want to lose another 50 which I know will take months, so I like reading about successful weightloss.
