In half an hour they are coming to pick up all the rest of my living room furniture. I get brand new delivered tomorrow but that means I have nowhere to sit tonight so can't be on the computer or watch TV until after they deliver tomorrow!

The good new is, DH will have to take me out to dinner (since there's nowhere to place the dinner and sit down to eat it :-)

Ouch!!!^^^^^^--do you have a staircase in your home? You could sit there-maybe--

but, hey, get DH to take you out to dinner!!!

You've got a great excuse to go out on the town (or just for meals)

JMO, of course

Oooh...sounds kind of exciting to get out the old and bring in the new!!

Grab the pillows and comforters off the bed and fold them up to make cushy, warm seats in the TV room and you can snuggle with them as well.

I hope you have a good night and be as comfy as you can. Have fun with your new stuff tomorrow!!

How about the bedroom? Are they taking the bed too?

The furniture is here and I like it but DH and the two cats aren't sure if they do. Poor DH got moved down to a love seat from a huge, comfy couch and we worked hard to get furniture that wasn't quite so "fluffy" as the back pillows got too misshapen and took up too much room. I got a sleep sofa but we have a awkward, heavy table that DH likes and one person can't move it out of the way so we can't put the sleep sofa where DH can use it as one person wouldn't be able to open the sleep sofa if needed (illness, bed failure (in a previous life, our sick cat peed on us in the middle of the night to get our attention; needless to say, we had to move to another bed for the rest of the night) restlessness of other partner, inability of one partner to climb the steps to the second floor bedroom).

Last night was horrible. They picked up the old furniture around 3:30 so the rest of the night, until 10:30 this morning, there was nowhere to sit. We went out to a nice dinner at a Scottish/Irish restaurant, "The Tilted Kilt" http://www.tiltedkilt.com/ but we had to go to bed at around 9:00, no TV, nothing as there was nowhere to sit! I was restless in the middle of the night but I couldn't come downstairs and get on the computer for an hour, nowhere to sit! I still haven't had breakfast yet and it's going on 3:00 :-)
